The Bathurst 1000 is one of the most anticipated racing events in Australia, and this race is something you shouldn’t miss. Also known among all Aussies as “The Great Race”, it’s 1000 kilometres of speed, oil and burning tyres. It’s thrilling and would be awesome to watch with a few family or friends. 17 October – 3 November 2019 (Tentative) | Adelaide, SA
OzAsia is one the biggest cultural events in Australia and a celebration of all things Asia. This is one of those things to do in Australia that can be an eye-opening experience for every one of various artistic nuances of the Asian culture. There’s a lot to do, with dozens upon dozens of theatre events, visual art exhibitions and live music events.
Travelling Australia Annual Event
20 – 26 October 2019 | Sunshine Coast, QLD
Family get-togethers tend to be awkward, but what if it’s an event between travelling families? 25 – 27 October 2019 | Surfers Paradise, QLD
October has a lot of racing events Australia, and the second major one is the Gold Coast 500. Known as Queensland’s premier Supercars event, it is the final endurance race on the Supercars calendar. It’s hosted at Surfers Paradise, which features some of the most picturesque tourist locations in Australia.
